Getting started

Quick start

From signing up to your first scheduled post in about ten minutes.

1. Create your account

Open the sign-up page and enter your name, work email, organisation name, and password. Your password must contain at least one letter and one number. Tick the two boxes to confirm you are 13 or older (with a parent or guardian's permission if you are under 18) and that you agree to the terms and privacy policy. Someone joining from an invitation ticks the same two boxes.

Systemly creates an organisation and a first workspace using the organisation name. It also prepares the workspace's default pipeline, tags, and custom fields, so you can begin without building the basic structure by hand.

If email verification is enabled, use the link sent to your work email before continuing. Then Systemly asks four short setup questions: what you are setting up, the business, your goals, and a plan. Every step can be skipped. See Account setup for what each answer changes.

2. Check the workspace settings

In the left navigation, open Settings. In the Workspace section, check the name, timezone, and currency. Setup fills these in from your answers, but if you skipped it the timezone is still UTC. You can also upload the client logo and set an accent colour.

  • The timezone controls scheduled posts, booking pages, and time-based reporting.
  • The currency is used for deals, payments, and financial reporting.
  • The logo and accent colour are used on workspace-facing and public surfaces.

3. Connect a social account

  1. Open Social, then select Accounts in the page header.
  2. Find the platform you want and select its connect action.
  3. Sign in on the platform's own authorization screen and approve the requested access.
  4. When you return, confirm the account has a Connected status and the expected profile, page, channel, or board name.

If a platform says Needs setup, the Systemly deployment does not yet have that provider's application credentials. An administrator must configure the provider before a user can authorize an account.

4. Write the post

  1. Return to Social and select New post.
  2. Select one or more connected destinations.
  3. Write the caption and add any required media.
  4. When posting to several platforms, use the platform tabs to override the master caption, media, or platform-specific options only where necessary.

Systemly validates each destination independently. Requirements such as caption limits, media counts, and TikTok audience choices are shown before the post can be published.

5. Publish now or schedule it

At the bottom of the composer, choose one of three outcomes:

Save draft

Keeps the post editable without sending it.

Publish now

Sends the post to every selected destination immediately.

Schedule

Appears after you choose a future date and time. The worker publishes it even after you close the browser.

6. Confirm the result

The Social page separates posts into Upcoming, Drafts, Published, and Failed. A post can succeed on one destination and fail on another; open the post to inspect each result instead of assuming the entire post failed.

Scheduled posts also appear under Content calendar. If a destination fails, correct the account or content problem and use the retry action on the failed post.

What to configure next

Once the first post is working, add client workspaces, invite the team, connect calendars and messaging, or import contacts. Read Workspaces before creating a multi-client structure.
