LinkedIn, YouTube, X & Pinterest

Setup and the quirks specific to each of the remaining networks.

LinkedIn

Systemly connects the LinkedIn member profile used during authorisation. It requests basic identity access and w_member_social, then publishes as that member. LinkedIn organisation Pages are not currently available as destinations.

  • Text-only posts are supported, with up to nine images or one supported video.
  • Visibility can be Public or Connections.
  • Published posts can be deleted from Systemly.
  • Provider analytics are not currently imported.

YouTube

Connect a Google account with a YouTube channel. Each post must contain exactly one video. Add a title, description, and Private, Unlisted, or Public visibility in the composer.

  • Uploads are resumable, which is more reliable for large video files.
  • Published videos can be deleted from Systemly.
  • Systemly can refresh views, likes, and comments.
  • Google may force uploads from an unverified API project to Private.

X

Systemly publishes posts of up to 280 characters, with no media or up to four supported images. Video publishing and provider analytics are not currently supported. Published posts can be deleted from Systemly.

The X application needs read, write, user, media, and offline access. Its callback is https://app.systemly.com.au/api/social/x/callback.

Pinterest

Connect a Pinterest business account. Systemly creates a separate destination for each available board, making the target board explicit in the composer. Every Pin requires one image; the caption becomes its description, and the title is limited to 100 characters.

  • Systemly requests board read, Pin read/write, and user-account access.
  • Published Pins can be deleted from Systemly.
  • Provider analytics are not currently imported.
  • Pinterest trial access can limit a Pin's visibility to the app's creator.
