Team & access
Roles
Organisation and workspace roles, and how their access differs.
Two levels of access
Every person belongs to an organisation. They may also have a direct membership in one or more client workspaces. The organisation role controls agency-wide authority; the workspace role supplies the starting permissions for work inside a particular client workspace. One user can have a different workspace role for each client.
Organisation roles
Owner
Can administer the organisation, its plan, and all of its workspaces.
Admin
Can administer workspaces and organisation billing, but cannot grant an equal or higher organisation role.
Member
Has no automatic client-workspace access. Invite them to each workspace they need.
Workspace roles
Owner
Full control, including workspace deletion. At least one Owner must remain.
Admin
All workspace permissions except deletion.
Manager
Runs operations, manages content and schedules, and can publish workflows and social posts when the plan allows them.
Staff
Works on contacts, deals, conversations, calendars, and drafts without most configuration powers.
Client
Read-mostly access intended for the end customer, plus access to the workspace AI assistant.
Open Team to see each direct member's role and the role descriptions in the app. People with member-management permission can change a lower-ranked member's role, but cannot change their own role or assign a role equal to or above their own. Changing a role clears that person's custom permission overrides.
Choose the smallest useful role
Start with Staff for daily work, Manager for publishing and operational control, and Client for a customer who should mainly review information. Use per-member permissions for a specific exception instead of giving a broader role. For a customer, read Client access before sending the invite.
