Getting started
Account setup
The four setup questions after sign-up, and where each answer ends up.
Who is asked
Setup appears once, after sign-up, for the owner of a new organisation. Someone invited into an existing organisation goes straight to their workspace, because the account has already been set up by the person who created it.
Signing up has already created your organisation and a first workspace. Setup refines those rather than creating anything new, so submitting it twice does not leave you with two workspaces.
The four steps
- You. Choose My own business for a single workspace, or Clients' businesses if you are an agency that will run a workspace per client.
- Business. Enter the business name, what it does, its timezone, its currency, and the size of the team. The name, industry, and timezone are required to continue.
- Goals. Pick at least one thing you want to get done, such as taking bookings or following up automatically. You can also describe the business in your own words; this is optional but the most useful answer to give.
- Plan. Select Start free, or choose a paid plan to go to Stripe checkout. Nothing is locked in; you can change plan later.
Where each answer goes
- The business name, timezone, and currency are applied to your first workspace. The timezone decides when scheduled posts, reminders, and briefings actually go out.
- For a single business, the organisation is renamed to the business name. An agency keeps the organisation name it signed up with.
- The industry, team size, goals, and description become the assistant's business context, so its first drafts sound like your trade rather than generic copy.
Change any of these later. The workspace name, timezone, and currency are under Settings → General. The business context is the About this business field under Settings → AI assistant.
Skipping setup
Select Skip setup on any step to go straight to your workspace. Setup is then marked as done and is not shown again. Nothing is filled in for you, so check the timezone under Settings → General before scheduling anything; a new workspace starts on UTC.
